100 octane tune on Big Turbo

Hey everyone, im currently tuning for ethanol and 91 mix on my GTX2867R .64.. Wondering if their is any worth doing a 100 octane tune on the stock fuel system? Just contemplating if this will get me another 20-30hp to hold me over till I get my Aux Port injection come Christmas time. Anyone out their tuned on 100 octane with this turbo? Curious on numbers...

Are you going to drive around with 100 octane in your tank often? I would find it impractical but if you feel like paying for it then their is definitely a great benefit in power.

Why not have 400whp all the time running on w/m or mixed with E85?

Haven't looked to find the answer yet but another things comes to mind and that is investing in a slightly larger turbo that will more easily reach those numbers on pump gas alone (not needing aux or w/m). If you add up the cost of of going w/m or aux fuel - wonder how long before you start to break even with just selling your 2867 and getting something larger. 3071 maybe? I'll have to look into it myself as I'm curious. But I want to say that may be a route.
a lot more lag though
Yea I didn't want the lag and 420whp is all I want in a daily and I figured thats in the wheelhouse of the 2867R. The water meth i dont feel is as safe and would rather go the port injection route for a couple hundred more..

Trade offs with either option. I haven't had any trouble with my aquamist system and what I love most is that since I bought the 10L tank, I fill it up like every 2 months. I don't have to deal with mixing rations of e85 at the pump or looking for specific gas stations that sell e85. Depending on your region e85 can be at most stations, but not by me. The other thing I worried about when debating going with an aux fuel system meant for e85 was that the ethanol content in e85 varies significantly by season in many states and then your tune would be off. I don't have these problems with w/m injection.
