  1. The Dirty Duecette

    Focus ST Builds
I to would rather be high then low ... but yes no engine likes to be starved of fuel. Oh do tell more.... or is in the past 72 pages :|

To high!😂 well that is a new one.
  3. Oil catchcan

    Focus ST Discussions
Junk you all refer to is oil, the same oil that keeps your motor alive :p well it can cause issues if you don't keep up on the unneeded maintenance added by running one 🤦‍♂️ just buy a can of CRC valve cleaner and a long brush. less of a mess than walnuts. OR you can run meth and not have to...
  4. Oil catchcan

you asked the question.... yet you made up your mind before anyone commented? I mean you are want to run one, do it, not sure why you care what I think?

snake oil.... it isn't "s**t" it is oil... you know that stuff that lubes you engine. you are catching it and pulling it from the engine. Again make sure you add the oil back to the engine, engines normally don't like to run low on oil. Ford voids warranty because of catch cans. that...

1 - Finally you have come to your senses 2 - did you mean to put "mile"? People buy all kinds of stuff that doesn't nothing for them. oh and willing to bet 1 in 400,000 cars have a catch can. it is a rare aftermarket item, I have never run one and I have owned 10+ cars/trucks. I can't say I...

also another thing to remember. If it is catching oil. that means it is taking oil from the engine. I have heard of engines running low on oil because of a OCC and users not checking their oil level. again another hassle.
  9. Oil catchcan

This ^^^^ yes it "works" yes it catches, oil, but it isn't a solution to put in and think it is the end of all valve build up. Honestly isn't worth the hassle and mostly the money.

Who has proof of it helping? I have heard so much back and forth but the fact is no one has been running a catch can long enough and can show that they have clean valves. I don't believe that a catch can will keep the valves clean. please prove me wrong. I didn't waste my money on a catch...
  11. A simple WMI setup is all I need

    Focus ST Performance
10 is to low in my opinion. I run mine at 14 PSI. I feel like any lower and it bogs the motor. I spent a lot of time adjusting mine. you can always do the same and get a feeling for it. The stage 3 COBB is ok (wouldn't consider it robust. Maybe a startup tune) but a custom tune is night and day...

  13. A simple WMI setup is all I need

    Focus ST Performance
Meh barely... results are to be desired. @SIstomper would agree that it helps but to keep them clean, mostly only on the front side. if they don't start clean then they wont get them clean, from my experience, I had to clean them and now that they are clean it is keeping them clean. build up on...
  14. Clutch help after engine swap

    Focus ST Discussions
ah yes that would make more sense. I just found it strange that depressing the brake made it start. but 100% agree I should just be the CPPS one or the other, hopefully not both
  15. Dirty intake valves with video

    Focus ST Maintenance
Nut blasting is a complete mess and if you get it pass the valves it is trouble, I recommend chemicals 1) While engine is at full temp 2) Spray CRC cleaner on valves (while closed) let soak for at least 15 minutes more if you have time to kill (literally fill the intake channel until the valve...
