    Progressive, Loud, or Both?

Hey guys. I am currently running the 8.1 version with the loud crackles and I want to upgrade to the 9.0 and I see that progressive is now an option. It appears to be more refined, not quite as loud, a little shorter, and sharper. Can anyone tell me if they prefer one over the other and why? I may just get both and try them both out.

I had the loud, switched to progressive and never looked back. They seem to pop at the best of times and are more controllable. Don't let the names fool you though. Progressive is still stupid loud and awesome.

Didn’t have the loud, but I’m running progressive crackles. Like stated above super controllable and loud af when you want them to be.

Thanks guys. I think I want to give the progressive a shot. I do like mine loud so hopefully they are still "loud". I have the stock DP right now and a slightly modified MBRP CBE.

I personally dont like the progressive ones, because it gets pretty annoying when it always pops like crazy when you lift the gas at ~90mph.

I haven't had any issues, but you can more or less control it with the throttle and shifting.
