No, mild break in period of a few hundred miles at the most, then it's good to go and hardly noticeable. Going from stock to any brand RMM you'll notice it at first of course...but you very quickly get used to it and never notice it again. With a few thousand miles on it, this one is absolutely broken in.

Edit: I wanted to add this- NVH is subjective...so don't take what I said here to be 100% fact. Some people out there are extremely sensitive to stuff like this, so I'd hate to say no (since most people agree that the answer is no) then have someone buy it and complain lol. There is like a 95% chance you'd buy this and be happy

Being honest here, the Boomba one was too stiff for my liking, I let it break in plenty and it did get a lot better from when it was new. Their was a difference from stock, and it eliminated wheel hop HUGELY. I figured the Cobb one would be a little softer, but it was almost identical to the Boomba feel. From all of this I concluded that I liked the stock one personally, despite the crazy wheel hop, I know I am definitely in the lesser category here!
Also a little side note: When I did have these on my car it had around 90k miles on it. I ended up trading in the car for something bigger, but I always wondered if the rest of the mounts were worn, and introducing a new mount gave me that excess vibration.

I have the CPE stage 2 rmm and the NVH really is not bad except when taking off and your RPMs are too low. from what I've seen the boomba rmm is basically the same thing except that has two bushings where the CPE eliminates one of them. So I would think that the boomba should be a little softer and less nvh than the CPe. I'd go to the boomba over the Cobb.
