When setting up the ffs RPM. Is that the RPM in which the flat foot shifting is triggered and starts working. Or is that the RPM that it will hold at when you push the clutch in. Like say I set it to 4500 RPM and i push the clutch in at 5500 RPM it will go back down to 4500 and be ready for the next gear.

So I was just wondering what brake pads everybody is using. I was driving the other day at about a hundred and twenty miles an hour and I hit the brakes and there was an initial bite and then the brakes are pretty much gone. I do have drilled and slotted rotors all around with ceramic pads. So I was thinking about EBC yellow pads . I see a lot of people are using hawk HPS pads.are those any better than EBC I know they cost more and will they chew up my rotors? I don't track the car or anything. But I do drive fast occasionally. What are everyone's thoughts.

Someone's got to have some input here.

I'm running the EBC Yellow Stuff and the EBC Sport Rotors. Ordered them 7/12/17. No problems here.

I already have drilled and slotted rotors. But they are cheap ceramic pads. so my question was cuz I don't track the car but I do drive fast occasionally. Will yellow stuff hold up to the heat without fading. And also will they not destroy my rotors. like I said I was doing a hundred and twenty the other day and there was an initial bite and then they were pretty much a sponge. I probably plan on changing the brake fluid to a higher temp also eventually.

I have the Wilwood BBK on the front so it's hard for me to say on the fading part. But I'd say I've never had an issue with fade on the rear since going with my setup. Here are some pics of mine right now. Plenty of pad, the rotors have visible marks but they are not grooved bad enough to feel it by touching it.

I guess I'll have to give them a shot in the next week or two when I get some more cash. Just ordered wheels and TPMS sensors today. so my cash is running a little low. Never had to spend over $200 on brake pads before LOL.

For my buddy to do new pads and rotors on his 08 BMW M3 it was cheaper for me to buy a whole BBK setup for my car on the front lol.
