    Yup, exactly why I bought the accessport and tune from them and soon the 2687 kit. I trust these guys 100%, and they obviously know the platform.

    I just loaded the flash upgrade and did a short run to log the CAT temps versus ambient. The ~20 offset is no longer there. I need to play a bit more with a longer drive and will do that later or tomorrow on my drive in to work but here you can see that CAT vs ambient temperature. CAT goes below ambient in this short run.

    Sensor tolerance.

    On @Mustang7302 's car we noticed both his ambient and IAT reading above his external sensor, despite being within the same thing. Resistive based measurements will never be dead on.
    We'd have to calibrate for each individual car.

    My CAT can end up below ambient readings at time as well (especially so when its cold), and I'm on a 2013. I wouldn't worry about it too much. At the end of the day, they're both within 5% of the actual now, unlike 20% for the CAT prior

    Thanks for the info! I'm not worried about it at all. Figured tolerances + rain + cold all factored in. The new flash update after my IC install has me grinning ear to ear with just a short run. Power and smoothness combined. I'm digging it!

    Is there an equation we can change in the torque app to mimic the changes? for those of us that do not have an AP yet. @[email protected]

    I was doing some pulls yesterday with the fixed CAT for 2015. the ambient was 35 and my CAT was 30 F

    Well isn't ambient off by x amount of degrees as well? So seeing cats lower than ambient should be normal with the updated files right?

    They're sensor readings. Wont be perfect. If we do notice a trend of people being a little cooler, we can adjust slightly for it. I made the curve according to the sensor reading hardware differences.
    I figured some people would be below ambient, some above, and some dead on with where its parked.

    AAT does seem to trend warmer than external temperature sensors. This one is much easier for people to test, but it hasn't changed from 13-14/15.
