Yeah I notice the same thing as well. I'm wondering if some of the changes they did to the ECU maybe changed something. Like maybe they use a different sensor with a different equation. Just throwing something out there. Probably not the case but you never know. @[email protected] can you give any insite to this?

Wonder if it could be an error in the way the AP is reading the charge temperature sensor for the 2015? It just doesn't make sense to automatically see charge temperatures 20 above ambient on a cold start.

I've seen this as well on my '13 since it's been warmer the last few days. I'm guessing it's heat soak from sitting and for me, the front of the car facing the sun.

I have a 2015 and I have already switched over to the Steeda IC. I did the IC before the AP.

I've thought the same thing. With mine as soon as I start it it's still 20* above.

I have a '15 with Depo "Son of a Beast" and also Velossa Tech snorkel. Like others stated, pretty much it's 20* over ambient and stays there. On hard pulls, maybe 30-35* over. It is odd that the charge air is 20* over ambient as soon as I start the car? How/why?

To me, that sounds like it is a sensor issue.

With a snorkel and a IC theres no reason your car should be anymore than 5-10* above ambient. Even in 100* weather. Either your IC sucks or theres something wrong with the 15's

Not sure of its relevancy here but I did some datalogging yesterday to check out how a different gas stations' gas looked for OAR and knocking. I did grab temp data. Stock IC, Stratified OTS stage 1 tune.

Ambient temp: 91 degrees, humidity 57%
Start charge temp: 111 degrees. (20 degrees over ambient as mentioned in posts above)
Driving around charge temp: 109 degrees.
3rd gear 20.xxpsi pull for a few seconds, charge temp: 120 degrees. Two times, both the same temp.

My goal was for something else with this logging but I figured there may be something useful for this thread? <shrug>
