    Just got the stratified tuner and have questions

    I paid for the pop and crackles tune on my accesport. I installed the map today with intercooler short shifter and air filter. How do I know which map is pops and crackles is my question and which one isnt? I put the 91 stage 1 tune on it thinking that might be it but I think I'm wrong. Anybody with insight that can help would be great. Just wanna get what I paid for.

    its in the name of the tune file.

    I have three different files of the same duel fuel tune, they are named:
    STRATIFIED ComboFT Mk3FoST V9.00.LEC.NTC.AGE
    STRATIFIED ComboFT Mk3FoST V9.00.NEC.NTC.AGE
    STRATIFIED ComboFT Mk3FoST V9.00.PEC.NTC.AGE

    the section of the file name that I put in bold has that info.
    LEC = Loud Engine Crackle
    NEC = No Engine Crackle
    PEC = Progressive Engine Crackle

    Do you have an aftermarket cat-back? If not i would not recommend using the pop and crackles..

    Yep, stock downpipe will lessen the effects of the pops/crackles the most (not suggested) and then lesser will be your exhaust setup. Quieter the exhaust, less noise you will hear.

    I'm running the stratified tune and they actually told me it would damage the stock exhaust system if you run the crackle and pop tune.. Might want to call Alex.

    The tune file will have your name/revision number/type of fuel/maybe some other stuff/ then it will have a LEC and another file that says NEC and the end of the file will state if it has Stratified's traction control

    LEC is loud exhaust crackles tune
    NEC is no exhaust crackles

    I have a catless DP and pretty much wide open exhaust and I can tell you the crackles can be violent and I would not recommend this tune if you still have a cat and/or stock exhaust.
