2015 ST3, new Maestro RR firmware, and battery drain. Ideas?

Hey, all. Since I've installed the Maestro RR and the new ST3 compatible firmware last weekend, I have had a dead battery a few times. I'm definitely not saying that it is the RR itself -- It seems to happen after I've disconnected the RR and reconnected it without starting up the car and stopping it with everything hooked up.

But I'm looking for ideas about what it might be, just so that I can be sure. I've been carrying around my battery jump starter just in case. But I'd like to know what the real cause is, if anyone has any idea.
    Fswerks short shift kit
    Fswerks air intake
    Fswerks intercooler
Fswerks catted downpipe & catback exhaust
    Fswerks rear motor mount
    JBR symposer delete
    turbosmart blow-off valve
    Fswerks stage 3 tune
    TB Performance cross-member brace
TB Performance non-binding rear sway bar end links
Diode Dynamics LED fog lights (yellow)
Maestro FOC1 kit with RR head unit (Pioneer AVH-4500NEX) upgrade (in process)
    Next: Steeda bolt-on jacking rails

You could always put a resistor on the positive wire into the head unit. That should prevent it from draining and killing your battery.

Many folks on the factory battery, replace them within 3yrs, due to weak startups or being dead.
