    ST3 Heated Seats

Is it possible to replace the original basic seats with these more race oriented Recaro Sportster CS seats, whilst keeping the heating system and electric adjusters for use on the new seats?

I dont think sportsters can be powered, the point of them is be supportive and cut weight. They arent fixed, so you can adjust them but its manual. They do offer a heated version, so no reason you couldn't wire them up to your existing switch.

you will also need to get a bracket adapter and a cheater for your airbags. sportsters wont come with air bags and if you want any of your cars airbags to work, you need to trick it into thinking the seat bag is still there

Pity. It might have been worth going for those TS coloured ones if I could do a straight swap, but it just isn't worth the hassle of doing things like "tricking" airbag systems and other messing around, especially if the electric adjustment buttons wont work with them. I'll be trading functionality for looks, and at a VERY high price. I think it would be a LOT cheaper if I simply refurbished the originals with TS leather in order to make them sportier and colour coordinated to my car. The originals will never have the cool look of those TS Sportsters though...
