    Polishing a car with vinyls

I'm wondering how you guys proceed with your vinyls, stripes whatever when polishing your car...
Do you mask them, do you avoid them, do you mask the edges and still polish the main area of the vinyl?

I want do polish my car tomorrow but I'm a bit lost on how to handle the vinyls. This isn't the first time that I polish my car, but it is the first time that is has vinyls and decals on it.

Me personally I mask off the areas. If I use a machine i do not get close to them. You run the risk of burning or tearing. I normally hand polish when it is a delicate area.

Thanks for your reply. I think this will be the best way for polishing. But sealing and wax go all over, right? Would be a bit pointless to spare the decals imo.
