For a twin scroll exhaust exit, and if OP can run RS/Mustang cams that means Mustang/RS HPFP.

It makes sense if OP is going huge power, or if OP just wants to have a twin scroll, which is better than the K03 we have right now.

I believe our 770whp record used a 2.3 Mustang head, in a 2.3 stroker configuration.

Ah yeah I forgot speed performance used a 2.3 head for that build but if you aren’t trying for for that kinda of power just seems like more trouble and work than it’s worth.

Kinda, i think you just have to block a coolant passage or two iirc. The rest is the same. Sourcing just a 2.3 head is going to be weird, lol. Or maybe Im wrong.

Im probably going thus route on my next build.

If I was going for 6-700 hp+ I’d use the 2.3 block and sleeve it. It’s much easier to put sleeves in the 2.3 plus the heads would match.

For 600-700 hp you can just use a 2.0 block and head. No sleeving.

The mustang block is still open, regardless of sleeves I wouldnt run it. So far all the big power builds i have seen all run the 2.0 block.

Sleeving the 2.0 and increasing displacement, running a 2.3 head, seems like the ticket for 800hp. Which at that point fwd is not a great call. Hell, at 600 whp fwd is a poor choice, lmao.

I am not set on running a 2.3 head but I have seen speed performance build and a thread on focus rs forum from last year where he had ordered block from panda but didn't want to specify the block filling process or where it was filled. I have a 2.3 cylinder head already but if this process is unreasonable ill just do a 2.3 stroker build
