The control system is extremely complex and if I do my job right you don't need to understand it, you just have a lot more fun with your car. TQ control is a function of the ECU monitoring ETC TQ output to make sure that it doesn't go out of bounds. Obviously a lot of work has to be done to make the system happy and allow your foot command to translate into identical throttle.
As for the TC system that is unchanged and depending on what your goals are you can set that system to whatever you desire.
