Interesting review and great photography. Makes me wanna drive that road someday in a great handling car.
I found this passage particularly interesting:
"Whoever designed the Ford Focus’ driving position deserves some sort of gold star. Or maybe even a badge – you know, like the sort of badge you used to get for swimming 10-meters when you were a kid at school. Okay, the seat is where you need it, but everything is exactly where you need it. The dash is great. The gearstick is perfectly positioned. The steering wheel feels superb and the handbrake is a proper handbrake – none of this electric nonsense. And then there’s the sound. It roars. The car sounds amazing."
Which is in direct contradiction to what the tester said about the ST driving position in that ridiculous Motor Trend BRZ comparison where the ST beat the BRZ in every measurable test yet MT still "declared" the BRZ the winner. I guess it just goes to show these things are not beyond the scope of personal bias.
