MT Poll: 2013 Ford Focus ST vs 2013 Subaru BRZ - Which Would You Choose? - WOT on Motor Trend

Tough decision, actually. My brother bought the FR-S and I dearly love that car. It's so much better looking in person, too. But we vote with our dollars, and mine are going towards an ST. Whenever they decide to build the thing.

Honestly the BRZ is gonna win. They have had much much more hype then the ST. The ST just got, Ford-"I'll think we just put that right here and people might see it" as Toyota/Subaru- "Advertisement, Advertisement, Advertisement." Plus look how many years the Toyobaru has on our little ST. For every day driving, and have to live with it ST, If i wanted a rip around tear the town up car, BRZ. Why many of us have choose the ST. Also you gotta rember every 16yo who thinks he knows about cars is gonna vote for BRZ.cause they like "Its a Subaru SUPRA FAP FAP FAP FAP, OMG IS AMAZING".

I can't take my family of 5 in the BRZ, therefore it's a non-starter. The BRZ engine is also weak and I hate everything Toyota has a hand in. So yeah.

252hp = ST win. Cargo / Passenger space = ST win. RWD = BRZ win. When / if a turbo BRZ comes out, then the ST can worry. For right now, the ST is the winner for me. The combination of utility, power and go-cart handling makes the ST perfect for me.

I love the apples to oranges comparisons I keep seeing between the ST and others. Unless it's another 4 door FWD hatchback, stop comparing it! Hands down, there is no better 4 door FWD hatchback on the market that you can drive everyday to work, pick up the kids, get the groceries, take the wife out to dinner, go to church, and lap around Pocono Raceway! Let the teenie-boppers vote for the BRZ. I've already voted with my wallet!

I looked at a BRZ & it's Scion brother at the Fair this year. Not a fan.
