Edit: Don't get me wrong, it's tolerable by all means or I'd have done something about it...but compared to cars I've been in and owned with WAY better systems (which by the way weren't even expensive top-of-the-line systems) it's rather sad. Also, turn your sound up the whole way then put your windows down and go on the interstate and you can't hear them. That's kind of annoying.
I came from a scion xa.... anything above that is an upgrade to me hsha
But agreed with the highway comment, can't hear squat either

Side note, do you have your auto sound leveling on? It adjust the loudness of the system depending on how fast you are going, it may help a bit. I have mine about half way up

Someone did a test a while back and concluded that setting it to "1" makes the stereo the loudest so that's where I've decided to leave mine and I will say I kinda agree with the conclusion after messing with it. Bass however is what I think it's lacking the most next to volume..and the tweeters could be improved. If they didn't push just 400 watts it wouldn't be as bad I think

To me, it's embarrassingly bad. I have a FCA vehicle for as a work vehicle with an Alpine system, It shakes the entire vehicle.

Also, I did install the Steeda Sound Symposer delete. My car is so much quieter, it's unreal. I am really glad that I asked about it.
