    TrackSTer or STanced???

Just saw this on Octane Academy's Facebook Page... wanted to share it here.

Ken Block and Ford ST want to know: TrackSTer or STanced?

After seeing pictures, I originally hated the idea and look of those dumb fender flares on the TrackSTer. Once I saw the car in person, I took back every bad thought I had about it. It is a bad ass little machine.

No comment on the STanced car...

The white one looks like hell. Why anybody would want the tires shoved up that far with the car so low is beyond me. The blue one is alright but the fender flares are meh.

I felt the same way about the blue one at first, but once you see the car in person, it really isn't as bad as the pictures make it seem.

Don't care much for the STanced setup.

I will take your word on the blue.

Looks like someone took a sledgehammer and rammed the tires up the white ones ass. It really is bad. Poor car.

I would not have any qualms about riveting those fender flares to my car. Love those.

Neither, I like the one that Ken Block is using as his DD. Those are both a bit silly looking.

I don't like either but the fender flares are really horrible, I wouldn't do that to my ST if you gave me a thousand dollars and did it for free, lol!

For startes, Stanced cars.... well the owners of over stanced or Hellaflush, or just over Chamber cars should be shoot once in the left foot and 3 times in the right. MAke sure they can never drive a car again. I don't give a **** that its there cars, Its VERY unsafe to have your tires set at that much chamber, Handling decreased and less rubber is making contact to the road, meaning worse braking and over all less reaction time. Then you typically got people who wanna grow up to be just like Ken block, and pretend they are on public roads with cars like those. Stanced as a Trailered Show car, I will accept but, still thinks its ugly as an Hagfish, and serves no purpose except making a car worse, Let the VW and Scion guys continue on with it.

Now the trackster. Though the flared fenders are a bit much, they serve purpose, the trackster main goal was a Street legal Track going monster. I know that some states require all wheels to be tucked behind fenders, but most allow atleast some play. here in KY i wanna say its 2" of poke. and the Trackster has what seems to be 3" if not 4" of poke. But overall the car looks amazing. Think it would look even better with out the Fithteen Fifty two wheels, and more BBS or OZ Generic style rims.

If the flares were complete on the trackster it wouldn't be so bad but as they are I don't like either and don't like the wheels on them at all. They could get a little variety. All 3 of their st's have the same wheels just different offsets.

The blue one makes me think of gallons of bondo. The white one is just too damn low.
