I post in the PB thread, and in the Unleashed thread, but I don't have a general place to put pictures, mods I do, photos I take, etc. Most of my "general fix, stage 1 performance mods" are already done and I am happy so far. Enjoy the pictures as I am an amateur DSLR user and I try.
Story time (gotta have one, right?)
Last Aug I had found a buyer and I arranged to have my 2 MK1 shells and ALL of my parts sold on the 1st weekend of Sept, a Sunday. I had been wanting a Veloster Turbo, looking at FR-S/BRZ, MS-3 and others. I hated the focus look and 4-doors. I didn't want a MK3 with 4-doors. I pretty much cancelled that off my list. I needed a new car tho.....My silver SVT was @ 145K and needed a timing belt and trans seal. I was TIRED of wrenching on MK1's. Just done.
I had started hitting up dealerships for cars. I was not finding much. I Decided I GUESS I would go look at new ST's since I was bored at home. I heard Garnett in PA had a few in stock. I had only seen a white one in person at FR12. it was ok. I found a red one @ Garnett.....not too bad, I might be able to deal with this body style..... but I hate red cars. I wanted a blue car this time. I missed out on a Blue SVTF and I was still wanting a blue car. I drive down to DE and pulled into Sheridan Ford. Blue ST2 sitting pretty out front. First Blue ST I had seen in person or really anywhere. I dropped about 8 F-bombs and got mad because I knew I just got bit by the Focus bug again. It was a PB ST2, loaded, and sticker price. I went in and asked about it. I hit this place at the PERFECT time......9AM "salesmans meeting" was going in. The young guy I was sent to practically THREW me the keys. "lets take it for a drive".......this dude wanted OUT of that meeting lmao. I was quite shocked that it was that easy. Right place, right time.
As soon as I sat in it I knew this thing was NOT a MK1, or 2. It's basically like a Polestar C30 and an M3 had a kid...and it turned out to be a damn good kid. The test drive sold me, I was done. We talked numbers, trade in, blah blah, normal stuff.....It seemed like I could ACTUALLY get this thing! Financing was working after a call and my 3 year Ford Credit history saved my butt.
I went back home and told the parents, they were really happy as I was in need of a new car for trips up to PA from VA where I moved. We took a drive to go see it. Dad popped the door....open. They both got in and fondled everything (as usual in car lots with my family). Dad popped the hood, set off the "keys not in car, hood popped, silent alam" alarm thing, and we left it with the marker lights on and pissed off LOL.
I got lucky and sold the MK1's that Sunday. I called and talked it over with the Sales guy. They were number crunching what I wanted for trade vs my cash down and etc. Monday I went in, dropped off silver for trade, handed over the cash, and for the first time Mommy and Daddy didn't help me buy a new car. Mommy and Daddy didn't lend me a dime......they didn't even speak to the dealer. I did it on my own and I was damn proud of that. I made myself do it. This is the first "spankin" new car I have ever had.

First "Official mod" was yeller foglight covers a forum member sent me for $5 to try. They work well enough so I'm leaving em on. I'm a yeller fog kinda guy .
I picked up the JBR catch can to stop blow-by and carbon deposits on my intake valves (MUST HAVE). LOOK at how much oil the stock system injested after just 2500mi!!!!!! It's a bear of an install but it had to be done. Looks OEM as well.
Next mod was Torrie's SCT Tune......WOW WOW WOW....that stupid detune after the car warmed up is GONE. power is awesome, TQ is hefty, second gear spins about halfway, struggling for grip. It's FUN! The new Beta update improves throttle response greatly. I can hear the BPV activating quicker as well. best $400 the car could ever use. No picts of the tuner, un needed.

At X-mas I picked up the Buschur Racing Intake filter. Nice sound and a nice product :
I also had my stock rear muffler removed by Mighty Muffler in Aston, PA. They ran SS piping and some 3.75" dual rolled tips I bought for cheap. for $280 I had a simple exhaust. Maybe one day I'll spring for a $500 Magnaflow. for now this is perfect .

I had the Steeda ST rear swayer ordered but I accidentally got the non ST one....it's shipping soon so intall for that will be later. it's very easy to swap out tho.
