Hopefully, others will look around and post their findings here. Only a matter of time before hoods come available to the ST.

This photo I found online back in October is the first reason I looked into buying a Focus ST.

It was the wallpaper on my work computer until I got the ST3 ordered.

Here's another shot of the best hood:

I've been saying this all along. If you look at the plastic on top of the radiator and also the underneath part of the hood, it's obvious(to me) that it was shaped for airflow. I have also removed the rear cowl weatherstrip for the summer season to help vent some of the turbo heat, it comes up against the firewall and comes right out. I blew some compressed air at 30 psi thru the hood gap and could feel it exiting by the wipers. I have actually opened my hood gap as much as possible.

I'm pretty sure my intake tubing does not heat soak as bad now when the car is stopped. Of course this only works at lower speeds because of the high pressure air that builds against the windshield at freeway speeds. But its something.

Yea I would love to see someone produce a hood with the 5.0 GT hood louvers, I'd be all over that-
in 2 weeks my friend will have a spare set of mustang ones, I may buy them of him.

Guess I'll add mine here! LOL!

    2007-2009 GT500 Vents:

And the reason we installed them they way we did... we didn't want to cut the underlying hood structure:

Do those just snap in after the holes are cut, or did you guys silicone them in? They look great on there btw.
