    Throttle pedal lift kit

I am thinking about having some throttle pedal lift kits made up at a local machine shop where i know the owner. Would anyone be interested in buying one? It would be cheaper to buy a larger quantity, so i would want to know that i could get rid of these things once they are made.

As long as it's reasonably cheap, and won't be a safety hazard in any way, I'm down.

Absolutely. I think you could sell a lot of these.

I'd buy one, I don't know if it's just me or what but I can't get my foot over to blip the accelerator while braking... makes downshifting a hassle.

I had read somewhere that Ford Intentionally placed the pedal lower than the other two for saftely reasons so you could not accidentally accelerate... Not sure if this is true but thank you Toyota if it is!

I'm assuming that you're going to have them cut some metal shims to shape. Cut of of what?

My guess is that it came out of tuning the car at the track - if you're braking on a track the throttle location is perfect... But 99% of the time I want to downshift with groceries in the back, lol

I would use either aluminum or steel. Whichever was cheaper to manufacture, so probably aluminum.

I guess I haven't had to brake hard enough then because I can't blip and down shift with the pedal as low as it is.
