Im looking to get mud flaps for my 2014 PB St. I was looking at the rally armor ones.. 2013+ Ford Focus Mud Flaps Blue Logo, Rally Armor
Anyone have these? Easy install as far as no cutting or custom mounts needed or anything ?
Also anyone recommend any other brand ?
I've got Gorilla's. I bought and returned the Rally Armors because They felt too thin, not the right durometer for what I wanted. Plus the hardware for rally armor was insane and I've heard some people have spent more than an hour installing. That's just nutty!
could you give me a link to the ones you have i trued searching them and there are a bunch of different types just curious which ones your talking about
Do you guys live in primarily northern climates? Is the concern for winter protectoin from gravel and salt spray? was thinking about puttingon mud flaps.. dont see many new cars that come with mud flaps these days.
I chose RA. They fit perfectly with almost minimal effort. They stick out just the right amount and look amazing. Only have to trim the rear wheel well fabric slightly to get a screw through. And remove the rear wheels. They really do work wonders... and in the winter months... it kept virtually all the salt and crap off the sides. Recommended for sure.... Remember, you get what you pay for. Note:: the last picture is a misrepresentation as i didnt wash the car before installing. Disregard my laziness. Sent from my SCH-I545L using Tapatalk
Those RA's flap in the wind while you're driving. I think it looks ridiculous, but it does have the up-side of not scraping hard on tall speed bumps or car washes.
I've been very happy with my Rokblokz. Easy install and made it through a PA winter and all the road salt and gravel with no paint damage on the sides.....the front of the car is a different story.
I have RA's but didn't like the way they stick out so I cut 1 inch off the outer edge so they are flush with the wheel well and still cover the tire tread.
I went with Rally Armor, I installed mine just before winter and they have worked amazing to keep all of the salt and whatever other crap they put on the roads in Pittsburgh to clean the roads. They also do a great job of keeping rocks from kicking up onto the car.
